Tablets are slim, lightweight and can simply be put into your handbag to take wherever you go
Many food outlets and other stores now have Wi-Fi facility for you to use in their premises while availing yourself of their services.
Many tablets will only run on Wi-Fi so you will need a Wi-Fi modem.
The keyboard is good on most tablets but of course smaller than on a laptop or computer.
Email, Skype and social media is easy to set up on a tablet..
They do not use electricity but their battery life is excellent on most tablets.
